Historically the Hutridurga is connected to Kempegowda who is credited as the founder of modern-day Bangalore. The remains of the ancient fort built during the times of Kempegowda can be seen on the hill. The Hutridurga Fort is one of the 9 forts or Navadurgas built by Kempegowda the fortify Bangalore. The ruins of all these 9 forts can be found within a distance of 100 kilometers from Bangalore.

Drive out about an hour or so and you are in the arms of pristine nature. Among the many treks near to Bangalore, the Hutridurga trek is unique.

Itinerary :

•  11:00 PM Pick-up starts from Bangalore from various designated points.
•  02:30 AM Reach the base of Uttari Betta and relax for some time.
• 03:00 AM Start the hike to peak Uttari Betta.
• 04:30 AM Reach the top of Uttari Betta and chill around the campfire and enjoy the sunrise.
•  07:00 AM After sunrise, descend back towards the base point.
•  07:30 AM Stop on the way to freshen up and have a nice breakfast.
• 12:30 AM Reach Bangalore and end this amazing adventure.
